No way to see "To" email address when viewing emails in Reading List

I have to send the email to myself (via the Envelope Icon) then look at the TO field. There are many times that I need to know what email address an email was sent to, for example, to verify a gift certificate to me from Starbucks (real world example).

So yeah, just having all the information that would normally be accessible to a regular Gmail user over on the left side-bar when viewing an email on Desktop would be terrific. Thanks!

This is now available! Thank you for all of your feedback to help us continue to improve Throttle.

When a message is open, you'll now see "To get the generated address this message was sent to, click here." All you have to do is click there.

Enjoy! Let us know if you run into any issues.

In the future, this will go in a menu of some more advanced options that we've designed out, but we didn't want to make you wait until then.

Got it. We will start playing with this for sure... be sure to comment with any other use cases for this so we're sure to cover them all!

Another use case was when I received what looked to be a spam message... but for the life of me I couldn't figure out what address was receiving it (this was before you put in the Email Message to Yourself icon).

Currently, clicking REVOKE ACCESS on the Reading List screen (left sidebar) takes you to the Access Control page, which is not helpful at all since I have 100+ items on that page. I'd much rather have a popup dialog (are you sure you want to revoke access to xkxioqo2@thrott.com?).

I can see a need for this all the time. For example, just signed up for Barrons.com, and need to often login to the site with the email address throttle generated. Currently, throttle doesn't show a list of email addresses used with the sites, so makes it very difficult. PLEASE add a master list of all email addresses generated by throttle and which sites they are associated with. Thanks!!

David,

That case should actually already be covered. See the info here:

1. https://throttle.helprace.com/i58-how-to-use-a-throttle-address-to-log-in

2. https://throttle.helprace.com/i8-why-aren-t-generated-addresses-listed-somewhere

Let me know if that doesn't solve the problem for you!

@Alexander, the plugin solves it for Desktop IF you generated the Barrons.com email address from Barrons.com -- if it was another 3rd party site (like tinypass.com that is used for Barrons.com) then it wouldn't work without first going to tinypass.com to get the generated email address).

Noah – Sorry, I meant to refer to the third item in that list: grabbing it from the access control list by clicking the icon.

Regardless, we're deploying this new feature in just a few! Will update this issue & archive it when it's available.

Not seeing this yet. is it live across all account?

Thanks

@David. Should be, but right now it's not terribly obvious until we roll out that advanced menu.

It's here: http://mindsense.co/throttle/_helprace-resources/Screen%20Shot%202016-03-30%20at%2012.43.09%20PM%20copy.png

The link doesn't work after you've interacted with an email... why? Simple. "allow-scripts" is not set for the sandbox. The root of so many issues with the current implementation.
