When clicking on links from shared emails Javascript is disabled on the newly opened tab

Currently if you share an email to a social media site, and another user clicks on that email to view... all links contained within the shared email will open up into a new tab. That new tab has Javascript disabled by default (due to the sandboxing, no-scripts tag).

The current work-around is to copy/paste the newly opened tab's URL (with Javascript disabled) into another tab, which has Javascript enabled as expected.

Good catch - we'll have this fix out soon!

I have only found this to be a problem in Safari on a Mac. This is the error I get in the JavaScript console:

[Error] Blocked script execution in 'https://themonkbythesea.bandcamp.com/album/and-then-there-was-light' because the document's frame is sandboxed and the 'allow-scripts' permission is not set. (and-then-there-was-light, line 53)

I checked Firefox and Chrome but did not encounter the error.

@Alexander, please define "soon." It's been about a year since you'd have a fix out. This is really a nuisance. Links to pages with any kind of media, like Youtube, don't work if clicked directly. The website Nextdoor.com doesn't load at all. I have to copy the link and then paste it into a new browser window.
